I was inspired today by the man in the grocery store wearing flip flops. You sir, could quite possibly be dedication incarnate. Though we currently face a possible 3+ inches of snow tomorrow and it is a mere 30 degrees here, you refuse to let that stop your celebration of the first day of Spring. I believe that kind of dedication deserves a cocktail, so cheers to you flip flop man.
This cocktail is a great spring and summer drink, but is also fantastic for brunch as well. If an Easter brunch is your menu, definitely keep this in mind. The ingredients are light, refreshing and crisp. Best of all, they are easy to prepare! You could even batch the recipe and serve by the pitcher if planning for a crowd. Make this at the next family gathering, it's certain to be a crowd pleaser.
