Spice Cake

Tender cake laced with cinnamon, clove, and ginger, coated in fluffy eggnog buttercream and white chocolate ganache drip. Christmas Spice Cake is a delicious and beautiful cake to serve this holiday!

Step 1

Preheat oven. Grease and flour cake pans. Combine flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and spices. Set aside.

Mix Dry Ingredients

Step 2

In a bowl, add brown sugar, vegetable oil, molasses and apple sauce. Cream together. Add eggs and vanilla, mix until incorporated.

Mix Wet Ingredients

Step 3

Add dry ingredients to wet mixture. Combine well. Divide the batter into three pans. Bake for 25-30 minutes.

Add to Cake Pans

Step 4

Let cool and prepare the frosting. Once cool, frost the cake. Lightly drip ganache over the sides.  Pour ganache over top and smooth.
