In the cocktail shaker, muddle the cucumber and strawberries until a 'pulp' forms.

Shake vigorously and strain over your double strainer into a glass with ice. You may have to shake the strainer or move the pulp around to extract all the cocktail.
Garnish however you desire and enjoy!
Notes
Silver tequila is my favorite for making margaritas, it's solid tequila flavor, generally less expensive depending on the brand, and easy to find. If I'm having a 'treat yo'self' moment, I'll splurge on reposado.
If you don't have a fancy bartender's double strainer, any fine mesh strainer will do the trick.
If you don't have a muddler, the handle of a wooden spoon or spatula works too!
This margarita is great with a little salt or sugar on the rim.
