Slightly sweet with floral notes, this Hibiscus Bourbon Cocktail is a bright and summery drink with warm vanilla bourbon undertones.
In a medium size container, combine hot water, sugar and hibiscus powder.
Make sure to whisk the ingredients until the sugar is completely dissolved and you have a hibiscus simple syrup.
In a cocktail shaker, combine all ingredients. Add ice and shake vigorously.
Strain into a glass with crushed ice. Garnish with fresh flowers, too, if you like!
