Grapefruit Thyme Paloma

Ingredients

  • Thyme Simple Syrup
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 8 sprigs fresh thyme
  • Grapefruit Thyme Paloma
  • 1 ½ ounces tequila
  • 1 ounce simple syrup
  • 2 ½ ounces fresh grapefruit juice
  • ½ ounce club soda
  • splash of lime juice

Instructions

  • Thyme Simple Syrup
  • In a small saucepan combine the water, sugar, and fresh thyme.  Bring to a boil.
  • Once the sugar water is boiling, reduce the heat to low and simmer for 5 minutes.  Strain and let cool.
  • Grapefruit Thyme Paloma
  • In a glass, add the tequila, thyme simple syrup, and grapefruit.  Fill with ice and roll into another glass and roll back.
  • Top with a splash of fresh lime juice and club soda.  Optional: garnish with a sprig of thyme.
