Frozen wine with sweet peach and subtle floral lavender notes makes for the perfect summertime cocktail! Optional blood orange reduction for a pop of color and citrus!
1 ½cupgood quality lemonadeI like the Newman's Own or Simply brands
Blood Orange Reduction
2blood orangesjuiced and strained
¼cupgranulated sugar
Instructions
In a sauce pan combine water, granulated sugar and lavender. Bring to a boil while stirring to dissolve the sugar. Reduce and let simmer for 5 minutes. Remove lavender sprigs. Allow to cool, about 10 minutes.
In a large, sturdy, ziplock freezer bag combine the wine, lavender syrup, peach schnapps and lemonade. Place the bag in a tupperware container or on a flat plate to ensuring it does not open or leak. Freeze overnight or for a minimum of 5 hours.
To serve, massage the bag of frozen wine slushie. Scoop into cups or into a large punch bowl. Optional: garnish with blood orange reduction.

Juice and strain, two blood oranges. Combine with granulated sugar in a saucepan. Bring to a boil, stirring to dissolve the sugar. Reduce heat to low and simmer for 5 minutes. Let cool before using.
