Remove any giblets. Stuff with orange, onion, carrot, celery, garlic, and herbs. Place breast side up inside a roasting pan.
In a saucepan, add orange, onion, herbs, and butter. Melt until fragrant. Remove from heat. Add the cheesecloth and soak.
Drape cheesecloth over turkey. Add herbs, orange, onion, broth and water to the bottom.
Roast for 45 minutes. Reduce the oven and bake for 1 hour & 45 minutes. Let rest before carving.
