BAKED PROSCIUTTO WRAPPED CHICKEN

Prosciutto Wrapped Baked Chicken Breast is your next weeknight dinner! A simplified skillet chicken recipe using whole chicken breast, easy, dried herbs and a punchy garlicky dijon wine sauce.

PROSCIUTTO CHICKEN

Step 1

Trim any fat off the chicken breast. Season it with salt and pepper. Wrap the chicken with slices of prosciutto and give it a quick drizzle of olive oil.

Step 2

In a cast iron or oven safe skillet, melt the butter with garlic and oregano over medium high heat. Once melted and the garlic is fragrant remove from heat.

Step 3

Add the dijon, lemon juice, lemon slices, and wine. Stir to combine. Place the prosciutto wrapped chicken breast on top of the sauce.

Step 4

Bake in the oven at 425°F for 18 to 20 minutes or until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F.
